Fundraising- Helpful Hint #1- Assessment

Fundraising is most successful when it is coordinated with the organization’s strategic plan, properly staffed (paid and volunteer), adequately resourced, utilizes a comprehensive programming approach, and consistently executed, at a high level, year in and year out.

The first step in positioning your organization to achieve the best results possible is to perform an assessment of your current program. An assessment is essentially a thorough review of your current program and is intended to shed light on areas that you may need to improve.

The Institute for Conservation Leadership has posted a basic assessment questionnaire which you may find beneficial as you begin your review. To access their webpage, just click on the title to this post.
